God often uses suffering (of all kinds) to draw people to himself and to salvation.

God, in his sovereignty and grace, uses people’s suffering to undermine their self-sufficiency, to bring them into contact with Christians and the gospel, and to make them more sensitive to spiritual things and more open to the gospel, more willing to give the gospel a hearing.

The aim of the conference is to demonstrate the truth of this principle from the Bible and to illustrate it with examples from the lives and ministries gospel workers.
